About Us
“Eglītes mežs” Ltd. was founded in 1992. At the beginning the company started its operations by producing hardwood and softwood sawn timber. From 2002 until 2017 the company was focusing its production solely on birch sawn timber, furniture components. Company was selling its birch lumber products to long-term customers in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Austria.
Due to the extensive experience in timber market, gained throughout the years of working with different types of round timber as well as due to foreseeable, upcoming changes in birch sawn timber market, in 2015 the company decided to expanded the product range by starting the production of kiln dried firewood and is mainly producing birch, alder as well as ash and oak, firewood. Currently there is being exported firewood to United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Norway and other countries.
The company is working on to provide the high quality production to our existing and potential partners. We believe that the long term, resistant relationships are based on honesty and reliability.
